This
short silent movie was made for the NASDAQ tower in Times Square
when Cell Genesys debuted on the stock exchange. The challenge
was to work in a seven story-high format, without sound, and
to repeat the branding and message information on about a ten
second cycle. |
These are brief excerpts from a nurse training video produced
for Millennium Pharmaceuticals. It was designed to conform precisely
to FDA requirements, but also to be attractive and interesting.

The
standing opening of DHL News Network, a regular communication
to employees of the company that invented overnight express.
The music was composed for this piece, which is the only way
to get the precise relationship between picture and music that
makes an effective video. |

This
is a TV spot for a consortium of charities asking viewers
to remember their favorite cause in their estate planning...
an ad, in other words, reminding that you can't take it with
you. The opening video was shot in a cemetery. We also made
an eight minute educational/fundraising video out of the same
production.

The
very spiffy opening seconds of a video we did for Symyx, a Silicon
Valley firm. The music is a bed composed of sounds from the
Symyx environment itself plus a rhythm track. It was shot in
Beta and DV over two hard days; once the script was ready, editing
and graphics design took about a week. |
The
beginning of this industrial piece for Bayer demonstrates the
strength of DeVries Media's background in broadcast. We establish
strong, sympathetic characters that engage viewers and make
them care about what they're seeing. Everybody here -- photographers,
editors, producers -- has extensive experience in broadcast
television, and it shows on the screen. |
This
is a Video News Release produced for the Ischemia Education
and Research Foundation. It was very successfully distributed
by satellite and on tape. |
